Scott J. Kovens
President, Capkov Ventures
Scott J. Kovens has the privilege of receiving and passing on generations of development and construction experience. His grandfather's development of Miami Beach oceanfront from the 1930's, his father's construction of some of Miami's finest luxury high-rises, his and his brothers co-working through golf course and waterfront enclaves to Scott's development and construction of many Chapel Hill and Carrboro's unique communities. Winmore, The Cedars at Bolin Forest, Columbia Place, Weatherhill Pointe, Erwin Village, Pickard Oaks, the courtyard homes of Southern Village, Franklin Grove and more than 269 acres of future communities shows commitment to the healthy growth of Chapel Hill. Scott strives to leave a positive footprint on his three native Chapel Hill sons' home community.

Peter Gaudette

Peter Gaudette wears several hats within the Kovens company; overseeing all aspects of construction from sighting a house to the turn-key closing of a home, and also designing new, innovative Kovens home plans. Peter also works individually with homeowners to design custom plans, rework or just tweak existing Kovens' plans.
"I'm here to work with homeowners to turn a floor plan into a home; their home. From an original design (in Chancellor's View) or with changes to an existing plan, I work to find that special finishing touch to help put a homeowner's unique stamp on their new home."
Hanan Kovens
Project Coordinator, Kovens Construction Company
Hanan Kovens oversees customer relations, assists in project management and manages Home Owners Associations for Kovens/Capkov communities. He's been literally on the job since a young boy, growing up in and around Kovens communities.
